nima Virtual Conference 2023

Updated: Oct 30, 2023

Nima (previously known as the UK BIM Alliance) will host its 1st virtual conference centered around the theme of data and its profound impact on the construction industry on Thursday 2nd November. This event will offer a full day of online learning, featuring live keynote talks and engaging panel discussions on critical topics shaping the industry, with a special emphasis on data, information management and sustainability.

“The nima Virtual Conference will bring together inspirational strategists and real-world practitioners, to help turn theory into practice,” said Anne Kemp, chair of Nima. “The value lies in how data is used rather than simply how much data is available.”

The conference will take place within an immersive virtual environment, fostering interaction among attendees, speakers, and exhibitors through a state-of-the-art platform. Throughout the event, attendees will have the privilege of learning from four prominent keynote speakers and engaging in four practical learning sessions, designed to unlock the full potential of data and address the pressing information management needs of today's construction landscape.

It is worth noting that nima, previously recognized as the UK BIM Alliance, is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to driving digital transformation within the built environment. In collaboration with BSI and CDBB, nima plays a pivotal role in shaping the development of the UK BIM Framework. This collaborative effort sets the stage for advancing and standardizing BIM practices across the UK, further promoting efficiency and innovation within the construction industry.

Don't miss this opportunity to be a part of a pioneering event that will unlock the power of data in construction. Registration for the free nima virtual conference is now open, you can find more information in the link below.
